I drank beer straight from the can at my last place. Didn't go down so well with the MD.
Mostly though, I spent the best part of 6 years employ late, hungover, or just plain absent ("special" hangovers). Last year in that job I took 17 days sick.

Pretty sure he really wasn't but I had a suspicion, and apparently the alcohol made me think it was ok to ask him. Think he was a bit offended.
