My friends in the states wanna come over to London to have a few gigs and wants me to help them with things... As I'm new in London and have no clue or connections with London hip hop music scene, so here are a few questions I have...
(Before I forget these are my friends - Shambhala - http://www.myspace.com/shambhala… )Where do you start to look for places for a gig? Do you need get hook up/ find a promoter based in UK to do that?
If they wanna be support acts, how do you find out info if certain groups are looking for support act?
If they wanna do their own concert/gig, then what are some of the more popular venues for hip hop concerts and won't cost an arm and a leg? What's the cost like? how does it work?
