no, no card but it takes many types, and to be honest when canon throw in a memory card theyr'e only ever big enough for half a photo anyway. I got a battery, card and puch from Bristol Cameras - 4gb Sandisk 30gb/s extreme. Seems good.

i've waxed lyrical about the GX100 quite a bit on here. I love it, great size and quality, feels good in the hand.
ive got a multitude of aftermarket lenses and flashes including loads of lomo stuff that works including the LC-A wide angle lens and the Ring Flash (needs adaptor to take down voltage tho).

i ended up thinking the G10 was just a bit too big to be used as a pocket camera. I ended up getting the IXUS 980 which I'm really pleased with. I have big SLRs which are too much trouble to chuck in my pocket, and I felt the G10 was neither one thing nor the other.

I had the ixus 860is which I really liked. Just fancied a few more options - the wide-ish angle is nice too.

I just got a G10 a few days ago, so far I love it!
I have never tried a DMC-LX3, so I can't really compare.

Does canon have a point and shoot with full resolution 1080i or 720 video yet (the EOS 5D Mark II does)? My main disappointment with this cam would be the old skool 640x480 video resolution for those quick videos on the go.

The LX-3 or the D-Lux 4 all the way. Amazing 720 video and incredible imagine with the wide angle lens.
