shoot me please.
even though 8 is better than 7.... such a pita after using InDesign CS3 for so long... crazy client demands :(

It's only happened to me once, but when I was asked, I said, "No, I never bothered to learn it, choosing instead to devote my energies to InDesign." (Even though I did take a semester of it.)
- yeah, I never really "learned" Quark... last version I used was 4.0 on OS9, and even then I was just making edits to already created documents and printing things.adev

hahah. we should all deny quark to death

why would clients demand using quark? Are they supplying files in quark or something? Cients shouldn't care what program your using let alone dictate if you use quark or ID.

quark, sometime i miss it.
sometimes i don't.

quark's pretty good. naysayers aside it's a great app. too expensive though. i'm guessing they're using quark inhouse and are going to grab your files once done?

it should really be up to the production houses dealing with the files
