Nice array of projects and client work however, I am already sick and tired of the played out Papervision 3D interfaces in general...

Ya it is decent work. Its funny that if you use that PV3D effect in a month or two its dated and your sick of it and of people saying they are sick of seeing it that you now have to go back and redesign your portfolio yet again - which everyone knows is one of the most painful task for any designer.
But some nice work...

Agree with the comments above. The first thing I thought when I opened it was "oh no, not again"... but no offense to Freiler, good work and a nicely implemented version of a popular interface.
Saying that, I'd say there's a good chance the general public and potential clients would be pretty impressed.
I think we complain cos we look at folios and new websites everyday so we notice the trends.

nice work. it's nice to see some interactive design love on the editors' choice side.

i agree with you guys about the PV3D being played out. when i came up with the concept almost a year ago, PV was new to me and i thought this could be a step up from the typical long scrolling websites that show comp after comp. i didn't want to stray from my concept b/c as we all know coming up with a new portfolio is a pain in the ass.
i really just wanted the site to be all about the work and to make updates on the fly — i had not updated my site since '06. even though the navigation was an after thought, i still wanted to make the site somewhat engaging.
All credit on the build goes to Neil McKinney from Summit Projects. I thought he did an outstanding job on the motion and was a pleasure to work with.
tomkat - as for your macbook pro...i built this on a macbook pro (2.6ghz). no problems here.

as someone who personally can't get enough of the PV interfaces, i say well done!
