Hi all,
I've been using Campaign Monitor to send me newsletters, just wondering what everyone else uses to send mass e-newsletters, are there any self managed solutions out there?

I use CM as well.
I know a guy who uses Vertical Response and I've heard of people using Emma. Not sure about self-managed solutions, though.

"are there any self managed solutions out there?"
Do you mean something like Wordpress in the sense that you can download a package and then manage it on your sever?
I am interested in something like that too.
- direct mail and max bulk are do it your self programs. all you need is a pop. account.akrokdesign

mailbuild - part of campaign monitor is a client-management area. basically you create templates and increase the sending costs and then allow the client some login info in a client area which can be DNSed with your domain.

My knowledge is that MailBuild and Campaign Monitor (both from Freshview) are being combined to maximize the strongest features of each.

Might just stick with CM, especially if they are merging their MailBuild product.
I have just installed phplist which looks ok, self managed solution, it even integrates with some CMS' like Joomla, this is a 3rd party extension, the Joomla one is a comemrcial extension, although just a one of fee.
I'm just a bit skeptical about sending to mass groups.
