This year my "Christmas" presents will be $50 donations to charities of my choosing made in my friends' and families' names. Can't wait to see the look on their faces.

Don't lump us all together, bolus. We're not all ignorant, stupid Americans.
I for one, understand correct usage of the word "ironic."

I'm out btw. QBN is no place for a serious debate, hell the internet isn't.

also, there are many forms of capitalism..... an alternative to the present system isn't necessarily a wholly different way of dealing with economics
- Oh man...now you've done it.
*sits back awaits shitstormTheBlueOne - haha, I'm not gonna wait for it.bolus

what success is can be debated teleos.... I'm not advocating an alternative, but your praise for a system that might be considered succesful from your position as a western citizen, but very unsuccesful for someone in another part pf the world is ignorant to say the least

"When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling, 'I've been on line since Friday morning!'" Cribbs said. "They kept shopping."
God Bless America!
- "Just keep shopping" sounds like a helluva mantra.harlequino

"And Janne - It doesn't take a PHD in economics to know that Capitalism is the best of option for an economy. It may have it's hiccups and shortcomings, but sheeesh... just compare the options."
some people on this planet would probably disagree with you on that...
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_s…- How odd the Jesus Christ spouting dude celebrates raw naked capitalism.TheBlueOne
- not everyone is endowd with a critical mindbolus
- Of course people will disagree. Though I challenge someone to show me a system that has been as successful as capitalism.teleos

"I'm going to wager that there statistically could have been just as many functional agnostics and people like those contributing to this thread that were part of that mob."
Can you support this naked assertion with data?

"These same people that trample others for the right to grab the last piece of Chinese made junk on the shelf will be in church on Christmas day nodding in agreement to the sermon saying they should be kind to others and not let materialism things run their lives."

what would jesus buy?
- ukit0
Now this may sound cheesy, but imagine if instead of waiting in line 7 hours to save 5 bucks on shit we don't need, we took that same $200-300 and donated it to the poor and the hungry. I wonder which Jesus what prefer.
