listening to this album right now, and just realized that it was released 1996, which is 12 years ago... i can remember the scene when i bought the cd (one did this at the time :-)), feels like last year, but not 12...
holy fuck, time slips away so fast....

I know, it makes my stomach twist in to knots knowing that Massive Attack's Protection and Portishead's Dummy are 14 years old, nearly half a life away.
In another 14 years time, I will be close to Final Event where I drop pills and acid, then jump out of a plane sans-parachute.

12 years? Really? Geez. I still always hope I get to see them live someday. I'll be wishing for quite some time I'm sure.
The book they did with Tomato is pretty awesome. Another designer here brought it in for me to peruse. Awesome stuff.
- It was a rip off of a Jake Tilson project. Jake was meant to do the Underworld stuff.Horp
- Underworld IS Tomato, aren't they?pylon
- What you on about? Darren Emmerson was making that type of shit for years...babaganush
- darren emmerson was just the DJ, no?kelpie
- That's what I thought. Emmerson is a DJ. Hyde and Smith are part of Tomato.pylon

Yeah it's funny how fast all of that flew by. I still listen those albums; underworld, fsol, autechre, massive attack. Some of it is really *old* but still sounds pretty awesome to these 1970's ears. ;)

One of my all time favorite bands. They were the first live show that I saw. Amazing.

Dj Shadow's In/flux single was released back in 1993! Still fresh to this day.
