So I may be pulling a bonehead mover here but I think I found a bug with the new CS4 brush cursor.... That and I can't stand surfing around the endless forums Adobe is sporting never finding any useful info...

It appears that the brush cursor, no matter what tool it is, has a preset crop area for the outline of the brush shape/area. Once i go larger than 170px the shape of the brush bleeds out of a 170x170 pixel area. The brush mark is not affected but this makes it a real pain in my ass having to guess where the edge of the brush area is. I changed the properties for the brush tip to full size and can't figure this shit out.

Has anyone else hit this snag? I've been using the last 6 versions of photoshop and have never run into this....

That and tell Santa that I want to stop working on a PC for work.

    Thanks QBN

I had this issue with the windows version, Adobe told me it was my GFX card causing the issues. I have a 8600GT which seems pretty reasonable for PS to be honest.

They kinda hinted they would resolve the issue eventually. I don't get this issue on my MacBook Pro at all.

As you said it's not effecting the brush in any way, but it is really annoying...
