So I designed a site for a wine company a few months back with hundreds of bottleshots on a colored background. I manually saved each one out in PS. Now the client wants to remove the color for data base purposes and I really don't want to resave each one out again. How do I create an action that will save out each layer with a different name for each of those layers into one folder?

you write a script to do it.

try playing around with 'export layers to files..' under file>scripts
haven't tried it, but may be way to go

or create an action with that script and run a batch on your PS files

is there one that ships with cs3? ha. sorry...

Ok..so now that I have the script setup is it possible to add an action to the script and if so where would I put it in the script? Sorry for the hand holding as I'm just a beginner and still learning..think "kid gloves"

i dunno, but think you'd put in the order (sequence) that it would be normally applied in Illy.
Make any sense?
