its not a work of art but rather ane xperiment for me in different ways for use of flash video..

I think functionally it is fine but the color palette feels unresolved, i think the blue + green are too competitive with each other but that's my initial subjective reaction.

It's a simple site, content is easy to read. But get a "template" feeling with the header. Overall not bad!

like the site and layout
but your homepage banner isnt working well with the text animation because it stuttersplus your video is slightly pixelated on my screen
- like the idea but theres a serious confliction with both animationsWeLoveNoise

Needs more blood and guts. That's the only thing that resonates with these damn teenagers that want to get behind the wheel and be irresponsible little animals, driving all wild and yapping on their text messages.

"plus your video is slightly pixelated on my screen"
- If this is the only resolution of your video, try putting a pattern overlay on it so that the pixelation is not apparent.
the pattern overlay can also help too with the stuttering, you can then probably recompress the video for it to play smoothly... or your other option is (if you have money), getting a dedicated server for video.
and i dunno if its just me, but i think you keep the same consistent text animations for each section.
- "you should keep the same consistent", i can't do grammar on mondayslobstarr

probably the best driving school website out there
unfortunately most people won't spend much time on a driving school website.

the vid is 700kbps so its pretty much the best res for web. the problem was the dimension of the stock video was very square and i had to get that to fit in a rectangle shape which required a bit of stretching.
like the idea of pattern overlay though il give that a whirl.. any tips on pattern overlays lobstarr?
cheers
- still - no excuse to give it a good go!forbes
- why bother?
the only information they need from the website is where and when to go to take lessons.monospaced

I like...
Put the 'special offers' column on the right hand side and use a slightly heavier typeface in a different color for the main headline is all I'd say.
Maybe a semi-transparent background behind the top menu items too..

i'd change the image for the 'test' page, it looks distinctively american and very much 'photoshopped'
