Yeah this guy is/was the gurning champion...also featured in the bonjella advert...which i think might have been banned due to people complaining..apparently they find it scary?!

a few years ago at art basel one of the artists brought over that first dude as well as the female champion from the uk and had a little competition. that was my introduction to gurning

i'm not going to make it this year unfortunately. the museum lost 25% of it's budget due to the economy, so they're doing it on the cheap and won't fly me out now that i'm in california and not nyc! curious how everything will play out this year with the economic woes and all.
