yo,
I'm trying to do something in terminal, but I'm not a tech wiz, so I dont really know what I'm doing.I have instructions to:
"open a terminal window then issue sudo -s, a root shell will open"I dont know what it means to "issue sudo -s" though?
does that mean to just litterally type "sudo -s" in to the first line that appears when you first open terminal?

you know MAC, the make-up.
my laptop is actually just one of those big blush things with the mirrors the ladies use...- I just don't know why you capitalized Mac. It's not an acronym.monospaced

yep just type:
sudo -s
- doctor0
You're also able to complete tasks with root privileges, without opening a root shell. Simply type:
sudo <what ever command>
Press Enter.
