he's already received treatment for the illness. doctors performed surgery and removed a majority of the growth. it makes my scalp itch looking at him though...

Just saw a documentary on this guy...
The docs did remove all those things, but his bones in the hands and feet have malformed and basically has osteoporosis in those bones.

Apparently some doc wanted to perform a new cure by doing some chemotherapy on the guy to kill the source with from the inside, but I believe the money never came and nothing was done.
