I always like to go to this place too. The Artisan Hotel. It's a small little hotel off Sahara near the strip. VERY close to the strip joints. :)
The Griffin is also pretty fun. Great brick work architecture inside. It's on Fremont street, so bring a gun, a super thick condom and a bad attitude.
