are there free font programs that will allow me to view my entire library on one screen so I don't have to go font by font.
I have linotype fontexplorer but it sucks,
I'm looking for something similar to "the font thing"

Thats the deal with the font viewers, its font by font or group of fonts. Suitcase is the same but kinda shittier (though a little faster at the previews) and then theres Font Book which I've used about 3 times on various computers over the last 6 years which has always been shite.

"I am Obama and I approve this font viewer"

I've got Linotype and I think it's better than suitcase, but I would like something where the list of fonts is in the fonts itself, similar to the old illustrator/photoshop? Can't remember which.
- Oh that's be really slow though, I have to turn it off in illy to get it to run more smoothly.ian

Add your library to Linotype. Then select all? It will preview all selected rather than one by one.
