what's even more ultra-awesome is the fact that flickr now offers the possibility to all library/regional archives to add their entire image banks in one central database. offering people easier ways to recognize and tag photographs for the benefit of the archive, plus make use of great images which rights have long been expired.

hmmm... osunds kinda weird like you have something on flickr and then the next day you see it on a billboard? just trying to tihnk of the benefit in reality - i mean getty isnt exactly short on images.... flickr tie up does what exactly.... MORE images... maybe realistic/believeable ones
