people here, the worst christians in the netherlands, called "Gereformeerden" won't allow their kids to be vaccinated against polio. if their kids die, they say it is the will of god. morons, i say.

Janne, compulsory vaccination isn't such a clear cut issue. I know a doctor who specializes in allergies. For years she has been conducting studies (paralell to many similar across the world) that lead to a conclusion that surge of autism in recent decades is linked to vaccination of newborns.
My brother's baby was born a week ago, he consulted her on vaccination beforehand. He had a hard time at the hospital, because the nazis there didn't want to agree to use substitute vaccine my brother bought, suggested by this doctor. They wanted to force a common vaccine that was linked to some scary stories, including investigated infant death cases. He had to raise hell there. There is a lot of controversy regarding vaccination these days. Look at it this way: if you're a pharma company and your med MUST be applied to every single person born, this is a multibillion goldmine. You will bribe every politician and will bully every journalist you can to keep it running. And every politician will gain voting points by forcing vaccination on his people because it shows that "he cares".
