On Thursday I loose my mac, next week my new one arrives. I need a way of saving eveythng to upload to the new one. I use time machine but am I right in thinking this only works with one mac?
Any ideas how to back up for easy install on the new one?

supposedly, time machine back-up everything, if you attach it to your new mac, all settings and data should be reinstalled on the new machine
never tried it though

yeah I just read that - it's the supposedly I don't like. I guess I can just redo all my bookmarks etc etc so I'll just backup all my music and stuff, might be nice to have a fresh start
- if you are using firefox, backupping bookmarks is easy, just get the latest html file and save it somewherebolus
