Has anybody seen the new Mr Muscle advert on tv? He's now some cgi muscle bound guy in a cape with sunglasses rushing around from kitchen to kitchen! Marketing twats gone mad. Can't find a video of it yet, but here's the old one for you yanks...

Wasn't that the whole point of Mr Muscle, that it gave you the strength and power (in a cleaning sense) that even a petable loser could harness, kind of like Clark Kent/Superman. I liked the irony of it, now it's just another animated visual representation, appealing to no one but those with the need to change!!!

I saw it yesterday, bad cgi, bad dubbing, really awful advert. Very disappointed in them, the weedy guy was a classic concept, should not have got rid.

Ok im doing some research for something and so can i just ask who thinks that the new mr muscle advert is totally ridiculous and portrays women as helpless and needy when it comes to cleaning? yet they are still stereotyped as the main person to do it.
