Hello. Q&A
Printing is being donated to use via a contact i have, i am going to print 2000 books.
Naim it raises money with sales of the book, the book will be stocked in the right places around the world, so far it will be stocked in Cypher13's store and there shop front, and at nasty vinyl in london, there website will have a store where people can purchase the book online and it be shipped out to them.
Deadline has been extended to 30th November as more and more people are contacting me about taking part. The people who knock this project should ignore it or grit there teeth and take part. its a going to be sold worldwide and is a great advert for yourself at the same time helping raise money for charity.
1 thing which may not be liked it that artists will no recieve a 'FREE copy' because if i send out 150 books to all the artists that a potenital £1500 NOT going to the national autistic society.

have you looked into getting grants to get this paid for?
I got £1000 for nowt from Business Startup cos i was under 30 and had a business plan written.
Then i got a grand worth of tshirts printed up and sold em.sweet :)

rybo i actually generally feel sorry for u cos u kinda had it coming although and i do actually believe u have the right intentions in mind. I dont think u have thought about this project properly, from the funding right down to the literal design of the site [where you still havent used the colours that you have askd everyone else to use].
neadless to say i with you buying the domain - and standing your ground against the banter, i think you are starting to take this serious. You still have a long way to go and i would say to you now if you want anyone at QBN to respect your intentions, i would take down the site that seems to be affending people, do some research and design a site for an autistic audience.
think if you actually put your mind to it, the project will be a success

I hope that that artworks that people have submitted have more thought and work into them than was asked for in the pish brief.
I hope that folk have spent time and done some research into Autism and represented what theyve learnt visually in some way - whether thats taking on an element of the disability or representing statistics/facts with something visual rather than just doing any old random thing just for their own self promotion.

I think people just dobt rybo's ability to pull somehting of this scale off, considering earlier patter. Good luck to him though, I really hope it goes well and doesn't turn into a car crash. Hope he's not bitten off more than he can chew.
was it dancer who said he should put the printer's logo up there? that's a damn good point Rybo – you should really be getting all the info possible on how you are pulling this off up on that site to put people's minds at ease; its about more than just listing a bunch of designers and illustrators, that really doesn't show people anything of worth that proves this isn't just a mad pie in the sky pipe dream
