have to agree with some of the posts, the black nav took a bit of time to load.. also i think your 'ABOUT' links is slightly higher than contact, portfolio

Don't make the black nav bar slide back in quicker. It gives me a second to look at the work initially, and if I don't like it in 3 seconds, there's the nav bar for me to quickly jump to something else.

Beautiful work. I would put some sort of hover effect on the arrows, to let you know they are there, they are kind of hidden on black backgrounds.
I really like the color coding in the nav, it lets you know what was involved.
