Best spring break spot?

  I want to go somewhere this year in early March.

  I don't want to party. I just want to chill by a beautiful beach and go on a couple day trips (scuba diving, hikes, etc).

  I don't want to go to any European city.

  I'm on a budget.

  I'm going with my girlfriend.

  I want to go somewhere a bit unexpected.

  Anyone have any suggestions?

  Most of the Caribbean is actually pretty good. Just avoid Jamaica during Spring Break.
