Ofc he was gay, he just never outed himself in fear of loosing votes of his right wing homophobic homeboys.
The funny deal is though, even though he mentioned that his relationsship was special, for the austrian media it's still not proof enough.
I think even if there were photos of him humping another male naked it would be explained as doing the heimlich maneuver after the sauna.
