I bought this book for about $40 US... can't remember if it was from Barnes and Noble or Amazon... either way I can't see how youworkforthem.com is charging $70. It's a fantastic book aesthetically and is rich with grid related information... however it's one of the dryest books you will ever attempt to read. I can't see myself getting rid of this book and will occasionally reference as a typographic and grid related resource.

I paid $58.99 for it at YWFT. Now it's $69.95 there (apparently a "New Price" down from $89.95...what...).

Pffft....grids are overrated. Just splatter stuff all over the screen like Carson.

This book reads in that horrible "it is important for the student to be fully aware in all situations arising from practice, beforehand, as well as after the fact, including, that the book was originally, in fact and theory, translated, in a wordy mechanical fashion, as these things can be, and frequently appear, from German, by an especially, as sometimes proves to be the case, uncommunicative ruminant, as shall be seen, who has no grasp of, or even hints at, knowledge or familiarity, with coming to the point, theme, or idea, in a clear or cogent manner or fashion, likewise."
