i've been reading Bright Shiny Morning by James Frey lately. good book so far.
i've also been reading - The road.
it's a bleak fucking book, but interesting (if a little slow paced)- The Road is one of the best books I've ever read. Thought it'd be too obvious to mention.waterhouse
- Also reading The Road.
James Frey is decent too.Jaline

human smoke by Nicholson Baker.
has an interesting presentation; not like a common narration, more like a collage. is non-fiction, produces an interesting perspective on ww2/holocaust. quick, easy read, not heavy but quite powerful.

Anything by Stephen Fry if you enjoy distinctly British humour. He makes me laugh out loud.

I devour books. Check out Michael Chabon, he's got a couple of great ones out, including one I recommend that won a Pulizter. I just read The Road, which also won a Pulitzer, and was thoroughly impressed.
