Just out of curiosity, why do people want to use MMS? I had my previous MMS-capable phone for a few years before my iPhone, and only once used MMS - and that was only just to check it out. Surely email is a much better alternative?

I do not understand why turning off auto-correct is not built in?

MMS is handy for sending instant pictures to someone elses PHONE!
If you are sending to someones email then theyd have to have an iphone or some kind of portable device that they can pick up email from.thats why id want MMS, so i can send pics to friends who can get it instantly and not have to wait till the next time they check their email.

Just a quick breakdown of what jailbreaking offers these days. There's plenty but these are the ones I have on my iPhone:
Open SSH: sFTP access, lets you store documents on the phone;
Docs: Documents reader (pdf, doc, xls, etc.);
Boss Prefs: quickly toggle on/off for wifi, edge, 3G, airplane mode, bluetooth, autocorrect, autolock - this gets the most use as it helps save battery;
Mobile Finder - browse files and edit their properties;
CopierciN - copy text from emails, contacts, notes and messages, paste into new ones - rarely used but one day you'll regret not having it when you need to copy/paste urgently;
Cycorder - record video;
myHTML - simple html editor (a gimmick actually, but nice);
weDict dictionaries - add many opensource dictionaries to AppStore's weDict dictionary engine;
BookReader - err.. read html books;
Backgrounder - run apps in the background. This is a fantastic add-on to many official apps, ie. instant messengers.There's plenty more, including MMS, tethering, app launchers, dock extenders and abundance of useless custom skins/wallpapers. I don't care for these though.
Jailbreak is simple and easy with QuickPwn. It is reversible. Bricking phones is history now and bricking Touches is a myth, as far as I remember. But read the small print first ;)
Whoever doesn't need/want it, or isn't sure it's safe enough, doesn't do it, that's all there is to it really. It will enrich some people's usage of the phone but not everyone's.

I'd like the UK price to drop by at least £150 :)
