in Illustrator...
is it possible? how? please explain.
thanks

create your arrow shape and drag it into the brushes palette. select Art Brush and set your prefs for the brush. Go.

thanks but that doesn't suit my needs... already tried other alternatives and none works as I want. don't want patterns or brushes, only custom arrowheads that appear in the arrowhead library
- mcLeod0
where is the arrowhead library?
- gramme0
Buried near big water. You payum big wampum.

when you choose filter > stylize > add arrowhead...
- Greedo0
I don't think you can edit that library, you'll have to deal with brushes or symbols...

fuck!
Big glitch in illustrator... after further research it seams impossible to add custom arrowheads. WTF?Adobe keeps pushing me back to Freehand when I just want simple, basic features like this
- Greedo0
So just make a brush, copy the point where you want the custom arrowhead to go, paste it on top of the line or whatever's underneath, apply brush, presto chango, custom arrowhead.

- make a line with the pen tool
- select it
- go to Effect > Stylize > Add Arrowheads...
- chose which end of the line you want to add them
- choose the type you want to addthis has been the case for the last 4 versions, as far as i can remember. or, am i missing the question altogether?
