When you say "I did the print for Quantum of Solace" do you mean...
1. You were responsible for the creative direction and or production of a major movie's marketing campaign in (a) The US, or (B) the entire world.
or
2. You did a bit of freelance work at a regional agency that was responsible for following the guidelines provided to assemble marketing materials for an (a) state-wide or (b) possibly just town-wide press marketing campaign.

What 'wierd spin' ?
- Llyod0
the spin is that the vampires are out in the open and are treated like a minority. it occurs in the south. they have their one clubs and crap like that.

So Llyod, can I press you for an answer?
Could you clarify what exactly you mean by the statement "I did the print for Quantum of Solace"...
Its a genuine question. It would be good to share. This is, after all, a forum for creative people to discuss this kind of thing. I'm interested in what print you did for Quantum of Solace...

Sounds a bit like Moonlight that was canceled by CBS.
- Not even close. "Moonlight" was bad, but I watched it because it was about vampires.Jaline
- But you do have something there. A lot of vampire stories are very similar. Human girl + vampire man.Jaline

I've been waiting for a vampire show to appear on HBO because, mythologically, the characters are supposed to be absolutely filthy. I'm so glad.
Apparently the producer, Alan Ball (who did "Six Feet Under") has never read anything about vampires before. Not sure if I believe him, but as long as he follows the novels the show is based on it should make some sense. I guess.
There are some things that could be worked on, but it's new and is on HBO, so I have faith in it getting better with time.

"never read anything about vampires" I doubt that

To be more clear:
-----
"Alan Ball, creator of HBO's new vampire drama True Blood, told SCI FI Wire that he didn't know too much about vampire movies or lore, so he created his own mythology.Alan Ball, creator of HBO's new vampire drama True Blood, told SCI FI Wire that he didn't know too much about vampire movies or lore, so he created his own mythology.
"In our world, a lot of the myths about vampires were created by vampires themselves over history so that they could pass, because if you could convince everyone that you couldn't be seen in a mirror or that you would freak out if somebody shoved a crucifix in your face then you could prove you weren't a vampire pretty easily," Ball said in interviews at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, Calif., on July 10.
Ball (Six Feet Under) said that he had never read an Anne Rice book and added: "I personally have never seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel. I'm not really a big vampire fan. This was really my first." But he is a big fan of Kathryn Bigelow's 1987 film Near Dark, with Lance Henriksen.
As for CBS' canceled vampire show Moonlight, Ball said, "I think it's pretty lame when you let your vampire go out in the day just because you don't want to shoot at night."
