Illustartor keeps crashing!

do you have like six billion fonts open? get it under 500 and close anything with fractions in it, like helvetica fractions, times fractions, or times phonetic, if you have those.
Best bet might actually be to get it down to nothing but system fonts and see if it still crashes.

it says i have 46 fonts open. No dupicates...man oh man. this is poopy.

does Lino manage your system fonts? you probably wanna try a restart with only core system fonts active.

I didn't read all the posts, but sometimes it's caused by your computer not being able to access the printer. Could happen if your printer is through a network instead of directly connected. Try deleting your printer setup and re-opening. (just a temporary thing to find out if that's causing it.)
