too pricey for my needs.
pina zangaro does the trick.- +1amongthemasses

Love mine. I got a bunch done with my company logo laser etched in teh trans plexi, with black metal hinges.
Looks very expensive and custom. For a company, it looks much more high end than a generic black portfolio.
Pretty pricey, though. The plastic pieces you attach to prints are very expensive - don't overlook those details, they add up quick.
- is yours this one formed

I'll go with everyone else so far: I love mine, but it wasn't cheap.
Sadly, I don't actually use mine anymore... I just drag my laptop around with me.

Fair enough you have to put some presentation into your portfolio, but doesnt buying some "cool" expensive product have a detremental effect?
I dont know, it just seems to me that people will hope THIS will wow people rather than their portfolio WORK wowing people.

Like dirtydesign said the Pina Zangaro are really nice for a fraction of the cost. If you have a nice cover it just shows that you care about your work.
- +1 about the presentation i think, it does no harmpeterorpete

A couple months ago I asked here in QBN where to buy those portfolios- I was directed to the Sam Flax in store in NY. I got a silver Pina Zangaro. I went to 3 meetings, and it was amazing each one complemented on the portfolio case, someone actually said "this is very important for presentation"
I totally think the investment is worth it, and it is probably tax deductible in the US under work supplies, or under job hunting.

One thing, I didn't realize that you should not tight those bolts too tight... One of them got stuck, I couldn't unscrew it no matter what...
I think I will have to break that one bolt and buy another replacement... Now I'm stuck with 11 pages... ahaha
