So,..
Is it true that an email can be registered (wrongly) on "a system" as a spam sending e-mail address ?. So that afterwards alot of e-mail addresses/whatevers wont accept e-mail from that particular address.. Is there a way to remove an e-mail address from such a list ?.Please help!

It's blocking a yahoo address?
What email are you using? If you're using yahoo it will show up in your "spam" box. You have to be more specific if you want help.

thanks design bot, o.k i will try, i am a traditional artist not a digital one please forgive my stupidity..
The e-mail address i suspect is considered a spam address is quite an important yahoo one that i have for sending cv's etcetera. I suspect that people are not getting my mails that i send them.. i am not sure exactly what info you need..

you have to apply to the blocking services to get yourself removed

You may be better off setting up a new email address.
If you want to send me a test email....I'll see if it get's blocked.
- i know sometimes people get my mail, but sometimes not - i know that for sure..vcr
- Is the email address in your profile the one you are referring to?designbot
- no its another one, but it is also a yahoo one.. i thought perhaps i could search for it on a blocking site somewhere ?vcr
- yeah probably a good idea. You should do some testing to see what emails are getting blocked and what aren't.designbot
- see if it's only when you send to certain domains (ie; hotmail, gmail)designbot
- thanks designbot, you da man!vcr

if someone is using what seems like YOUR email address to send out spams, it only LOOKS LIKE IT.
the interweb knows that the email hasnt come from your account
so you wont get blacklisted.if you are sending out marketing emails and you are thinking you might end up in a lot of peoples junkmails, at the foot of each email have a little "tip" saying something like "if you want to ensure you receive all of X's emails in the future then please add us to your contacts"
someone mentioned this previously but thought id add more detail

i've never heard of specific addresses getting blacklisted, usually whole domains. if it were just one address, a spammer could just randomize to the left of the @ and defeat it. something else is going on. or maybe people just don't want to talk to you :)
