My fear of death has finally caught up with me, and after 8 uneventful years of weaving in and out of bendy buses and lorries my scooter needs a new owner.
What can I tell you about it...
It’s done about 9000 miles. Which is very low.
It’s 7 years old I think, one loving owner.
It’s an import from Italy. Is an ET4 (125cc)
Runs for a week off £7 worth of petrol. So it’s cheaper than Boris’s buses. And you don’t pay the congestion charge.
Insurance is about £200 a year
Just had a new battery, and service (£200 worth).
It’s also about the only dependable thing Italy have ever made.
Similar bikes on ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-PIAGG… ) go for about £500 - £600
I’ll take any offer around £400 and throw in a couple of £100 helmets to boot.
Absolute bargain :)

Ah righto... I know someone who's looking to buy a scooter at the moment and he'd want a silver or black one - nothing too pouffy - I'll email him and see if he's interested.

Thanks, I'll take anything sensible that allows me to buy a new cycle.

hi bottle...
you need a car licence and a cbt which takes a morning to do. like a cycling proficiency thing. have to redo that every 2 years or upgrade to a full licence at any time.

Fuck no, one of my best chum's nearly lost his leg just 3 weeks ago on a scooter in London after some drunk driver piled into him.
I'm much better off on a bicycle, thank you very much!

i would be quite interested but i'm not in london...yet! but i do have an exact replica of yours by the model of ET2 (50cc) and i can say that they're really trusty. my mechanic has told me that the newer versions aren't as trusty and problem-free...
