when the owner/gm (i think) was congratulating the rays for a fantastic season during the acceptance speech for the world series trophy, the crowed booed.
at that point i decided that phillies fans must be the most classless people in baseball. for the season that the rays have had, after winning the series you think you'd be able to muster up a "well, they did have a pretty great year" cheer. but no.
phillies fans really are the bottom of the barrel for doing that.

I'm from Texas, lots of friends there and listen to a sports radio station in Dallas Ft. Worth every afternoon on the web. Lots of people have said that the Rangers could win it for 10 years in a row, and that would not be as excited as them LOSING last year. It was so exciting down there from what friends tell me, and the games were some of the best baseball games I've ever watched. Them beating the Yankees the way they did was almost the best part of it.

The Cards pitching is a disaster right now. I have no idea how they will deal with that Rangers lineup. If they manage to win this series Id be absolutely shocked.

I like both teams, but i'm going to pull for the Rangers in this one, mostly because the cards put the Braves out of the post season (actually the Braves did it to themselves...)
