got the build done by psd2html and the dropdown menu isn't working for the client or here on IE6. no idea if it's working for IE7 either.

doesn't work in safari either.
why is the header graphic flash? seems unnecessary. your issue may be that the flash bit is on top of the dropdowns. at least that's why it's failing in safari. don't feel like firing up windows at the moment...
- we're going to be making the header more dynamic. requires flash.airey

Camino 1.6.3 = No dice. The nav glitches out behind the flash.

doesn´t work on safari 3.1.2

alrighty, anyone got a drop down they can recommend?

that appears to be the suckerfish dropdown menu code, maybe if you google around for that you might find an answer?

i've used suckerfish before, thought there may be a newer, better solution.
anyone here used the spry/ajax version at all?

It works for me on first load but if I go to an internal page then hover over services again, it doesn't show. FF3, latest flash player.
- yeah i took the flash file out of the index page to check.airey
- ah, doh, stupid me...lolJnr_Madison

actually yeah, i've gotten it to show once on both firefox3 and IE7, but then disappears if you try it again on anyother page.
it's also glitchy as shit in FF3. you can't freely move between the subnav items before it hides the dropdown again.
i'm not sure why i'm further discussing the problems you're having with this, as i'm sure you've already decided to replace it.
- he took the flash out of the index page :)Jnr_Madison
- that's why it only works on that page. Great minds, fail alike.Jnr_Madison
- oh OH!7point34
- HAHAHAHAHA7point34
- well its' still glitchy as shit on ff37point34

yeah. thx. i've changed the wmode of the flash file in the links page and the menu appears above the flash file now so that'll do in teh short term but the fucking nav is all fucked up. i used psd2html as an outsource solution but it's terrible as illustrated by that nav. it even disappears on mouseOut in IE. it's killing me!
what was meant to save me time is now going to take a few more hours to rebuild the nav. that'll teach me to use 'experts'...
thanks the comments / time people. muchly appreciated.

you know what pisses me off apart from the fact that the css is so overblown and glitchy is that the Flash issue (fixed in part by the wmode=transparent" fix) was something i mentioned in notes to them and received a reply telling me that it's not an issue. yep, obviously not. fuckers.
will post how yummycss go but so far the reply is fast and from people online (both here and elsewhere) they seem good.
thanks again for the notes everyone.

I haven't looked at the code, but css/js dropdowns get messed up by flash headers. Here's the fix, from Stu Nichols:
http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/f…Worked for me when I had a similar problem.
- thx man. did that earlier but the css is so poor it is very glitchy even without the flash content.airey
