Was I just hit on?
I finally ran out to lunch, sat down at the counter, ordered a chicken sandwich and then my phone went off. It was a girl who works for one of subcontractors looking to pick up a check and she said she was at our office. I sighed said I'd grab my sandwich to go and meet her there, and then she said "Don't worry about it, take your time..."
I felt bad about leaving her hanging around so I took the sandwich to go anyway. So I pull up at the office and this attractive young woman steps out of the car and I think she gave me the once over, but thought I was imagining it. We get up to the office and she's apologizing "Oh I am so sorry you had to cut your lunch short..." No problem. "Do you know where our office is?" No. "You should come by some time." Um, ok. Let me just get your check. {insert more idle chit chat about the weather while getting check} "You really should come up to our office. I'd buy you a coffee to make up for it." Um, thank you. That's a very kind offer. And then we both said, have a good weekend thing and she left....
I think she was hitting on me.

I haven't been a girl hit on me in years...and especially not after getting hitched. I can't even recognize the signs anymore...I mean I DO, but feel weird acknowledging that it is happening. Complete utter denial. The wife would be proud.
