either go through and quickly rasterize them in AI or pw protect the pdf.
or you might be able to fudge something if you add a little transparency to all the placed images (multiply 100% mb) and then flatten transparency in your PDF.

I don't think it can be done, mate.
Your best bet is to password protect it or export the pages as jpegs.

Thanks for the tips... Problem is I took over 100 vector images and brought them in thinkin it would not be editable. Yeah yeah. Its been a littl while since Ive used Indesign so I just raced thru.
Anyone have any other ideas? There should be a way to just turn them all into flat pieces in indesign or something, no?

Make it a bitmap - PDF editing cracks are easy enough to find on'tinternet if someone's really that bothered.

you could password protect the pdf so that nobody imports it into illy, and if asked for it, pretend you lost the password
;o)
or do the simplest of things. make that vector a tiff or something to begin with

Hey,
Anyone know how to disable the ability to edit vector work in indesign when you output to pdf? I dont want the person getting this to grab the vector work if they bring the pdf into illustrator.
Anyone know?
Thanks in advance.
