Do you keep them or throw them out? If so, which ones do you keep?

I keep them till the missus throws them out.

I keep all my National Geographics - when I grow up, I want that yellow shelf in my living room - then I'll know I'm truly middle class.
Periodically, I go through and cut out and file interesting articles from NewScientist, ScientificAmerican, Creative Reviews and (less so nowadays) Grafiks.
Economists (except for the supplements), The Weeks and New Yorkers go straight in the bin after they're read.

I have every issue of Surfer magazine in my basement going back to 1994. One day I might sell them on Ebay, but keep all the yearly collector's issues.

I haven't bought a magazine in years, I used to buy loads and never had time to read them which made me feel sad.

old editions (pre-mid-80's) of Heavy Metal magazine..back when the contributers were mostly the old Metal Hurlant crowd like Moebius and Bilal, Druliette and Caza....with the odd american like Richard Corben thrown in for good measure
still have a about 2 years of so of issues of CreateOnline mag....only because the first one i ever bought had a small bit of artwork in it that I'd done...had no idea it was in there till i bought the magazine...love to look at them still and re-read the old interviews with the k10K baldies etc....they had a way of writing about designers as if it was a rolling stone article....

i still have a box full of upper&lower case from the 80s. and also the heavy metal comics, of course. also 2 russian radio-amateur zines from the 70s (looking like from the 50s) and 1 fashion mag from 1900!

I went through a magazine period during my teens before realizing that it was a waste of money (plus the "articles" don't even start until page 150 or so because of advertisements).
I still keep some in case...
- Vogue, Vanity Fair, Spin, Strut, Toro, Details, Blackbook, GQ, The New Yorker, Macleans, Wired, National Geographic.
Right now I just have one shelf full of magazines. Threw out lots.

I generally keep all my magazines, Creative Review, Grafik and a few old Baselines. I've also got the entire collection of DNA Mag (old aggressive inline skating mag) before it went bust. Not to sure why I keep them all though...
