- i really don't see anything wrong with him/her using stock vector and add a product.akrokdesign
- sure is a hell of a time saver.akrokdesign
- Maybe not, if the guy had some original work in his portfolio.ETM
- its not the fact that he used it. but the way he's showing off the detail like he made itsikma

- my thoughts exactly. nothing wrong with stock, but he's barely done anything to make it his ownpoolio

ah you just found his site some day..

He doesn't even try hard, there is a (I'm guessing bought from iStock) graphic element on the piece with the BMX - it's a blue vector, a bit of a stringy mess. He re-uses it in two other pieces.
Those iStock things are about £3 aren't they? The cheap bastard.

It looks like they have taken you original design and just split it in half and put the logo in the middle. Wankers

Why don't you sent the pics to bose and panasonic, if he really never did anything for them, they will sue him.

His Absolute project (last one) looks very familiar also...

In germany there is a saying:
"Go to Poland for holidays, you're car is already there."Because the polish kept steeling cars in germany, well now there stealing ads.

I'm not a fan of all this swirly effect laden shite anyway. Tacky as hell.

Unfortunately though, people seem to like all these effects and swirls all over the place. I did a nice clean logo a while back for a dj/music producer group for free, they then got some guy in to work it into posters etc, so what does he do? In his own words he 'urbans it up' by putting spray paint behind it randomly, complete with paint drips and then applies it to exactly the same sort of shite that this guy is pedaling. Can't bear to look at it now.
