we are looking for a boardroom screen to show our designs to clients. Preferably a LCD 40in screen.. What do you guys have in your studios? Whats the best?

be honest and get a 15" monitor

Go Plasma if the boardroom can fully control the lighting conditions. Better color and the best if motion graphics will be presented.
For LCDs look at Sony or maybe Samsung. Both have some great unit designs out right now.

I have a 52" Samsung LCD in my house (sorry, no boardroom). This TV is sick and I would recommend it for any situation. Just got it 3 weeks ago.
