There are so many nice little restaurants north of Eglinton, but most are way out of my cheap meal price range. There is one called Centro that is close to my place. The cars that park outside of that place...damn (Ferrari Spiders, Porsche GTs, Bentley ...). I some times stand outside and dream what it would be like to be rich ha.

Telegramme Prints in the East End has great prints.
Some repros of classic Lithos (actually done with the original stones in some cases) as well as silk-screens for bands by Aesthetic-Apparatus and more, and Cuban and Mexican film and music silk-screens. Some really nice stuff. Pricing starts at like 25 bucks.

Communist Daughter or Dakota Tavern, ossington and dundas, for pints, coffee around the corner at Luna Cafe, great place

Parkdale is where it's at, crack, smack and Mother India Roti's!
Wrongbar, Cadillac Lounge (To see the Rockabilly dudes), The Drake Patio (Kinda shit thanks to suburban cunts, but alright, 29-AUG-08 WINDSOR FOR THE DERBY DRAKE HOTEL 19+ $8.50, also), and Sweaty Betty's for the bar scene. The rest is shit.
Kensington Market is a good time on a Saturday walk, lot's of freaks in there, but a complete mix none the less. Then there's the norm of The ROM, AGO, DESIGN XCHGE, OCAD and galleries around Queen and Ossington.

If you're looking to spend some money on great dinner without going all-out there's a bunch of good places;
http://www.messis.ca/main.html (ignore their evil website, the food rocks.). About 150 for two people.
Lahore Tikka House in Little India for the best Pakistani food this side of Lahore, http://www.lahoretikkahouse.com/… (evil website amazing food). Maybe 40 bucks for two.
http://www.restaurantica.com/on/… Gio Rana's. Former owner/chef of the Nose. Very good. About 180 for two.Those are some of my faves. A little off the beaten track.

or hang out at Betty's on King St. this is in the heart of the design and advertising/media district....on any given day, about 75% of the patrons are either from ad agencies, design firms, media, actors etc....(once watched The bartender Julian tell the actor Ed Harris (yeah, that one) to stop smoking his joint inside....that he had to had to go out to the alley like everyone else lol
