the name is pretty funny. mint, with a mint leaf but a mint related to money is something else for me =)
- A 'mint' is where you print / create money (in the UK at least). Also, to be 'minted' is slang for having lots of money.

I can vouch for this; pretty good. Got the iPhone ap for it too - pretty handy to check for when you need to see where you stand on the go.

I'm interested in joining, but a little worried about the security as well. I'll probably get over it and join, but what do you all feel?

mint's iPhone app is a snap. I use it all the time.
www.justthrive.com is another useful service with some good features

I use it and security hasn't been an issue but the fact that mint can't log into half my accounts half the time and I have to go in and fix them is pretty annoying.

I think i'll go for it this weekend. It is just pretty unnerving that i have to put all my info in for accounts.

anyone still using mint? I haven't heard much about it lately. anything better out there? I would love to hear some recent feedback.

i have used it, but never got it to work to its fullest because i'm lazy and don't watch my finances anyway.

It doesn't just work in the USA. Works for Canada too:

Mint was worthless to me. It doesn't allow for billpay, nor does it do reminders. I used M$ Money forever until they pulled the product. Now I'm happily using Quicken for personal, Quickbooks for business, and free automatic billpay courtesy of Chase.

I used it for about 2 years now. It was the #1 app I used while I was getting married. It let me see where all my money was going and easily helped me save every dime for the wedding. Lately though I found my self using it a lot less. Every now and then they make pretty big updates, I think I liked it better when it was simpler.
