i tried BH, they dont do repairs for old cameras.

Have you tried calling Pentax? When I have trouble with my Nikon FE they'll do the repair right at their own place in NY and it's a '70s model, maybe Pentax would do the same.

i did try pentax and they told me to call the local repair dealers and the dealers said they cant fix it..
i need a new focusing plate. there was this german guy who made replicate plates but it wasnt sure if it would fit it.
i also need to replace the foams since the foams turned mush . melted and effected the focusing plate..

My old man does ebay consignments - a lot of the consignments are heaps of old photography equipment. If you're serious I can keep an eye out for one.
