______I've got a bunch of .m4v's that I'm playing in Flash and that get uploaded into my CMS using php... and I give them a unique name...
The trouble I have is that in Internet Explorer they don't play... I think it is to do with the it needing a reference file...
Is there a way in PHP to spoof that reference file... as I don't want someone to have to upload the .mov reference file and the .m4v???

You probably need to install Quicktime on the pc to watch them.

I think Internet Explorer will use windows media player to play them, and you will need to have the correct codec installed for WMP
