A fashionlabel asked me to design some classic typo shirts.grab 1.500€ for each design (altogether 6 designs)
or take 5 € for every sold shirt.
shirtprice: 149 €
the problem is you never know how much shirts will be produced and sold, it depends on the distribution.

why dont you ask them about thier distrubution and make a contract proposal that states they have to share that info with you so you can determine your fee.

so like a shirt with "teh" on it?

I will get all ordercopies from the distribution.. but only god knows how good they will sell those shirts

what is your hourly rate, and how much time do you expect to spend on these.
1500euros seems pretty good to me, but I'm maybe cheaper than you.

take the 1.500 and make the shirts quick
or
take the fiver and put an effort into the shirts

its not a small label... 1.500 € with european rightsfor 3 years is not very much, but a good reference. I expect about 1 week work, I will also do the cutting from the shirt.

I think I will research a good distribution, and ask them for an opinion... I think they should know at best if the 5€ makes sense

300x5 = you take the fiver deal. No big companies makes a batch of 300 shirts.

ja.. but the price is hard... and they wanna sell it just to the top stores (not their own flagship stores) .. its just imagestuff... there will be also 9 other designers.. but I don´t know wh... damn
- moamoa0
10 designers x 6 design = 60 different shirts... but how will I know that the stores orders my shirts ... aww

flip a coin

9000euros for week of work is good.
And personnaly I rather having that money than maybe having more money if they decide to run a decent amount of shirt and if they sell them.
