... I think you could pull it off as long as you have a fast web connection. :)

You could move to the area surrounding Burlington, VT (which cn be similar to NH in some ways). i see design jobs advertised pretty regularly in that area. You could be no more than 20min away from shooting guns and riding 4-wheelers

i know a bunch of creative types that share an apartment on my block in NYC, but all live in rural new hampshire. they come into town every week or so and take meetings, sleep over in the place, then head back up. one of the people is ken burns, the documentary filmmaker. i think that if you have a good connection, there is no reason to not move up there.

grew up in nh, yes they do have broadband up there, haha. southern nh is like a suburb of boston now.

worcester, ma boy here - born & raised. residing in nyc currently as well but have thought the same about either vt or vancouver. not sure how you could pull the nyc $ up north unless they are all remote clients to which you can work via skype / video chat / email etc.

I might be able to pull off working off site with the current agency im with, but they usually don't like that with art directors. They're more cool with coders/developers doin that.
- byDefault000
right - much more hands on position rather then packaging & delivering as coders / developers do.

burton snowboards is located in burlington. vt - always a chance to grab a position there.
- das tru, puma is MA, could be an option. It'd be nice to find a small shop that could use an extra hand.soynutz7

Do they have running water in NH?
- Greedo0
Ever since the old man in the mountain crumbled off, that place has really gone down the tubes...

Go to Vermont or Maine. NH is scary. However, there is one place in Portsmouth, NH which is a boheme pocket. I can't remember the name of it though.

Are the state liquor stores still only accessible via the highways?... to toll roads at that?
... makes no sense... you can only score your hard liquor at a rest area off the highway in the middle of no-mans land...
- nono, there's plenty of them:
