hey all.
im anticipating a move to Southwest FL, more specifically the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area.
does anyone know of any design studios around that area?

I'm interested too... my in-laws have a condo in Fort Myers that I could live in for free, but I think I looked for agencies in the area and there was fuck all. Expand your search to Naples/Bonita Springs, they're both nice.

I live in Naples which is south of Ft Myers. Theres not a whole lot of opportunity down here in regards to our industry. Those small studios arent going to pay much let alone hire someone full-time. But worth a look into as this geographical location is amazing. Closer to everglades you get, the more stunning the scenery is and more natural the beaches are. Good luck and keep us posted on your search. I work for a newspaper that does a lot of studio style work for clients. We were also a major innovator as the first newspaper to do a studio broadcast for online/local TV. Not the industry to be in though... seems all other papers are failing.

i work for an agency in northeast ohio right now and i desperately want out of here.
my girlfriend's parents have a house in cape coral, i have a couple of friends in ft. myers.
florida is looking great right about now.

Look in Orlando or Tampa, there's gotta be something in those towns. I know there's Lure Design in Orlando, they're pretty good.

I'm sure there's something in Miami too, though from what I've heard it seems there are many agencies there and few design firms.
