div nonsense...

ok, so I've got a series of 4 divs that Im trying to put next to each other in a row.
The class is set to display: inline, and I've set the width to 155.
When I put a 155px in each, then they all sit next to each other fine, and it looks great.
However, when I try to add some text under the image, it busts out the side, and sends it all wonky..
I'm kinda confounded, I thought it was real simple..Any help gratefully received..

"When I put a 155px in each"
should read:
"When I put a 155px width image in each...."

Can you fire up a link?

Are the images being displayed as blocks?
Any why not float the divs instead of have them display inline?

Yeah, float would be better.
But a link would be best!

this is no place for design

this isn't design

inline elements should only technically contain other inline elements, no block inside inline

see where I've tried to just do a <br> after the 1st image in the 1st div...and it all goes to pot..

make them block and float them
