the song it self is not bad but it leaves me to wonder, where is that dramatic event that changes the beat to another than comes back to end with the same.
i feels very straight forward from start to end. need to drama in the middle.

It's not bad, I like the basic tune you've got going there. The overall production, however, comes off as a little too easy listening/ elevator music. I especially got that feeling when the keyboard melody line kicks in about 30 seconds in. It's not horrible in and of itself, but maybe it needs a different treatment or something. Also I felt that the bass and beats could be a little bit rougher, more glitchy and electronic sounding to play off the cheesiness of the melody. Overall, not a bad effort although it may be an uphill climb convincing Andre to rap over it. Hope that helps.

Now keep in mind that this isn't the kind of music i listen to.
But the line that starts off the song; once the beat comes in, that line seems like it's a little late. Now maybe this is a style thing and every hot-shit music maker is doing it, but it's unsettling for me. Otherwise it's a pretty nice track, something i could definately see Andre working with

Yeah, this is really good, Kdub. In line with ukit's critique, I think it has a bit of that... smooth jazz blandness to it, which is holding it back. That being said, you did an excellent job in creating a unified atmosphere with the various layers. I think this song has plenty of potential, and a freshness and originality that is sadly lacking in mainstream hip hop these days. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Nice, but put that Triton thru some effects son! Too flat, needs more of a sonic palette. Why Andre 3000? I mean he's dope but um, you need fame more than he does, you know? Lead synth is catchy as f*ck, but like MrDinky says it needs a bridge.
