Saw Cornelius and Fuck Buttons on sunday night at shepherd's bush empire: BEST LIVE SHOW EVER!!! the audio visual experience was SO tight, anyone else seen Cornelius before? Are they triggering off some of those motion graphics with drum pads? seamless.

Never heard his own stuff but im aware that he's done loads of remixes.
A lot of electronic bands will put together a tight set for their live performances - whether on tour or for festivals.
So its pretty much 'set' what they can play.
What they'll normally do is keep instruments/sounds free for tweaking live, or samples to trigger live.
they might also have 'alternative' bits where they can go to something else without fucking up the whole set, then theyl come back to what they are meant to be doing. So as this is a pretty much fixed set they'll be playing, the video will be synched too. Someone will be controlling it all and triggering video but id guess that it was already synched up before and that he/she is just making little tweaks here and there just as the band are doing.

there was a lot of random space built into songs which was both super tight with the live musicians AND super tight visually... also he was interacting with the visuals, speeding things up and slowing them down etc.
anyways, whatever they were doing, it was really impressive. and the bground motion graphics were gorgeous... go see them everyone!

the stuff for videodjing these days is the same kinda kit as for mp3 djing so id guess theres prob a speed control slider and they can very easily control it as much as they can control the music.
